Rock & Root 30K

PEAK Mountain Sports is proud to host the 2nd Annual Rock and Root 30K trail race! This challenging race will again return to the beautiful and famed Haw Ridge Park which offers a year round attraction for mountain bikers, runners and hikers. Named for the rocky spine that dominates the topography of the 780 wooded acres, runners will traverse in and around the park utilizing various trails whose names belie their true character - the likes of "Twister" and "Kaboom" will weave our race around much of the park's shoreline and finally up the grueling Hill of Truth before rapidly descending down toward the start/finish area. All in all, this race has something for all runners: fast parcours, technical footing, beautiful scenery, an incredible trail running community and one of the most accessible multi-use parks in the southeast.
