VolOUT provides educational and social programming that promotes awareness regarding issues relating to gender and sexuality minorities and their allies at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Mission VolOUT serves the area through various educational programs, social activities, and political actions. Our weekly meetings, held every other Wednesday at 6 p.m. in Humanities and Social Sciences Building Room 56, serve as a way of organizing and unifying our community to bring attention to issues which affect each of us - regardless of sexual orientation, sex, or gender identity. VolOUT is involved with several community and campus events throughout the year to raise awareness about queer issues. We encourage you to come meet your fellow LGBT+ students and allies in a comfortable, confidential setting.
