Under the leadership and dream of Powell legend, Nita Buell Black, Powell Playhouse is determined to provide arts and cultural events to the north and northwest communities of Knoxville, specifically focused on Powell. We're a brand new company,who just received our 501(c)3 to become a nonprofit organization! We're a group of people with a lot of dreams and reaching for the stars and shining lights on the amazing talent within our community.
