You have seen curling broadcast during the Olympics, but did you know that we play twice a week right here in Knoxville? The Great Smoky Mountains wants to give you a chance to experience it for yourself. This amazing sport has taken the country by storm and this is your chance to learn about the game, see what all the hype is about, and actually play! Come join us and learn how to throw, sweep, and score.
There will be two sessions each night lasting two hours. Each session will consist of 30 minutes of off-ice instruction, 1 full hour of on ice practice and play, and 30 minutes of Q&A and a prize drawing. Each session is limited to 50 participants.
All you need is comfortable warm clothing and clean athletic shoes. We'll provide everything else - sliders, brooms, and rocks.
